  Notes	Currenty Obituary.com Diane (Demers) Bassett February 4, 2023 Diane (Demers) Bassett, of Brockton, passed away Saturday February 4, 2023 at the Colony Centre Rehab, in Abington. Diane, was a beloved wife to the late Michael Bassett Sr., the two had been married for 47 years. She was the daughter of the late Alan Demers and Irene (Ellis) Demers. Diane grew up in West Bridgewater in her younger years, then later moved to Brockton, where she graduated from Brockton High School. She continued on by becoming a nurse, working at the Brockton Hospital for many years as an R.N. Diane is survived by her two daughters Lynn (Bassett) Filosi of Brockton, and Laurie (Bassett) Audette of Texas, and her brother David Demers of Texas, and she is also survived by her grandchildren, Noelle Audette of Rhode Island, Selena and Xander Mead both of Brockton. She is predeacsed by her son Michael Bassett Jr., and her grandaughter Sarah Audette. Visitations for Diane will be held Wednesday, February 15, from 5:00-7:00 PM, with a service to follow at 7:00 PM, at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, 666 Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, MA 02382.
