Rose A. (White) Bassett
ATHOL- Rose A. (White) Bassett, 81, of Yale Avenue, died early Sunday morning, March 30, 2014 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare-campus, in Worcester.
Born in Athol on December 7, 1932, she was a daughter of Bradford and Rose (Marshall) White.
She was married to Norman W. Bassett and they have enjoyed over 54 years together.
Rose will be missed by all. She gave love freely, and we will all miss you Rose Bassett, until we meet again.
The family is thankful to the Athol Police, EMS and Athol Hospital for their help.
Survivors include her loving husband, Norman W. Bassett; tow daughters, Debra Laclair and Julie Sylvester, both of Athol; grandchildren, Jenni Sylvester, Shawn Tie, Mark Tie, and Matthew Tie; great grandchildren. Justin Holden, Kendra MacCarthy and Aidan Tie, all of Orange; a brother, Bradford White of Orange; and several nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by two sisters.
It was Rose?s wish for no calling hours or services. Interment in Warwick Center Cemetery will be private later this year.
Witty?s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
