Dolores Hanson-Bessette
Dolores M. Hanson-Bessette, 62, of 160 Valley St., a stitcher, died Saturday at Woonsocket Hospital after a three-month illness. She was the widow of Edward C. Hanson. She was also the widow of Cecil Bessette.
A lifelong Woonsocket resident, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Regina (Lavoie) Clouette.
She worked for the Sadwin Manufacturing Co. for a year. She previously worked for the Narragansett Knitting Mills.
She leaves two sons, Edward Hanson of South Waterboro, Maine, and Peter E. Hanson of Woonsocket; two daughters, Mrs. Charlene Girard and Mrs. Elizabeth Trudel, both of Woonsocket; two brothers, Edgar and Lionel Clouette, both of Lowell, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Yvonne Mundy of Slatersville, Mrs. Yvette Marcotte of Woonsocket, and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Avenue. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone.
