T.Q. Bass
Americus, April 13 - T. Q. Bass, aged 53, died late this afternoon after a short illness. Early this morning his home was discovered in flames and while in his deathbed he was rushed out to safety, only to succumb from the illness and excitement several hours later.
Bass was a Shriner, and is survived by his wife, two sons, Eric and Hilton Bass, of Leslie; three brothers, John D. and Carson Bass, of Leslie, and Daniel Bass, of Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. J.J. Harp and Mrs. Corrine Snyder, of Leslie. The funeral will be held at 3:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon in Leslie.
