Rita A. Bassett
Rita A. Bassett, 78, of Blue Springs, Mo. passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003.
She was born Dec. 3, 1924 in Beech Grove, Ind. She was a member of St. Robert
Bellarmine Catholic Church in Blue Springs, Mo. Mrs. Bassett was a form
appointment clerk at the Indiana University School of Dentistry for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary (Carrigam) Sah
Visitation and rosary will be Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the
Webb-Freer Funeral Home, 205 Southwest 17th Street, Blue Springs, Mo. 64015.
816-229-2012. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 7, 2003 at the St.
Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Mount Moriah Cemetery
in Kansas City, Mo. Memorials may be left to the American Cancer Institute or
the Kansas City Hospice. Survivors include: husband, Donald E. Bassett of the
home; daughters, Joan Bassett of Kansas City, Mo., Nanete and Joe Huser of
Lees Summit, Mo., Julie and Ryan Johnson of Independence, Mo.; sister Mary
Liddy of Indianapolis, Ind., and brother, Ted Sahm of Chino Valley, Ariz.;
three grandchildren, Tyler, Colby, Lauren Huser of Lees Summit, Mo.
