became restless and in 1923 moved to Phoenix, Arizona, with his uncle Will and
Aunt Pearl Hafford. He was not satisfied there, so he moved to Kansas City,
Missouri, to attend Sweeny Automotive School. He became an automotive mechanic
and supervisor. Ira and Elizabeth went to Hawaii for their 40th anniversary.
