  Notes	Springfield Republican, December 18, 1924 Achille E. Bessette Local Grocer Dead Achille E. Bessette, 51, who has kept a grocery store in this town for many years, died yesterday at his home, 371 Union street. He was a member of St. Louis’s parish, of Knights of Columbus, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Order of Artisan. He was born at Farnum, P.Q., and had been a resident here for the past 29 years. Besides his widow, he leaves three children, Lawrence, Mandelin and Robert, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Moise Bessette of West Springfield; four brothers, Charles, J., Arthur and Ulric of West Springfield, and Napoleon of Montreal, Can., and three sisters, Mrs. Adelard La Palme and Mrs. Wilfred Girard of West Springfield, and Mrs. A. LaPoint of Farnum, P.Q. The funeral will be held at his home tomorrow morning at 8.15, followed by a high mass of requiem at St. Louis’s church at 9. Burial will be in St. Thomas’s cemetery.
