Born on Dec. 10, 1911, in Ninevah to Calvin and Josie Quick Bassett, he married Irene Mead on April 14, 1932 and she survive He is also survived by his mother, three daughters, a son, four sisters, and 15 grandchildren. The funeral service was last Wednesday at Flinn and Maguire funeral home in Franklin with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
