  Notes	The Seattle Times Washington Sunday, November 19, 2017 Anita Betz Bass Anita Betz Bass - January 27, 1932 - October 19, 2017 Anita Betz Bass was born in Seattle to Edward Betz and Clara Bergan. She graduated from Roosevelt High and University of Washington. Anita married Dillard on October 18, 1958 at University Lutheran. They lived in Hawaii during Dillard's last year of active naval service, then returned to Seattle and settled in Bellevue where she taught school and volunteered at Lake Heights Elementary and Newport Presbyterian. She enjoyed genealogy, working with several cousins on her Norwegian roots. Anita and Dillard moved to Silverdale in 1998 and were active at Central Kitsap Presbyterian. They moved to Claremont in 2014. She is survived by her brother Ed Betz of Los Angeles, sister Evelyn Walton of Bremerton, son Thomas D. Bass of Port Orchard, daughter Alice (Brad) Ambrose of Allendale, Michigan, two nieces and two nephews. A joint service with Dillard will be 1:00 pm Friday, December 22 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 5303 Kitsap Way in Bremerton. The family requests any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
