Connie Demonbrum
Havana - Connie Burgett Demonbrun, 76, of Havana passed away at 11:03 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born May 10, 1934, to Thomas Henry and Ruth May (Bassett) Burgett.
Mrs. Demonbrun is survived by one daughter, Gina (Jeff) Mibbs; grandson, Denny Duckwiler; and one brother, Harold "Jack" (Audrey) Burgett, all of Havana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Don, Richard, Bob, Tom and Denny Burgett; and two sisters, Florene Budyn and Ruth Ann Jimenez.
Mrs. Demonbrun had worked as a cook and as a caregiver for the elderly.
Funeral services will be at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., also at the funeral home. The Reverend Darrell Auten will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Havana Health Care Resident Activity Fund.
