Mrs. Arthur Lamphere
Norwich - Services for Mrs. Luthera E. Lamphere, whose death occurred February 24, 1946, in Chenango Memorial Hospital will be held at 2:30 this afternoon in the William Breese Funeral Home. The Reverand Harold S. Knight, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Her body will rest in the Mt. Hope Chapel vault awaiting burial in the spring.
A resident of Norwich for 30 years, Mrs. Lamphere was born in Smithville, Apr. 14, 1867.
Besides her husband, Arthur Lamphere, she is survived by two sons and two daughters. They are: Mrs. Sadie Lake, Fay Lamphere and Mrs. Lillian Coons of this city and Fred Bassett of Oxford. Two brothers, John and Fred Cummings of Oxford; several nieces and nephews and 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
