Mrs. Bassett Dies at 80
Mrs. Ella M. Bassett, 80, died yesterday in her home, 207 Sycamore St., Liverpool.
Mrs. Bassett formerly co-owned the Bassett & Goddard Grocery Store in Liverpool about 40 years. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Liverpool and life resident of the village. She was also a member of the Liverpool Chapter 319, OES.
Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. George Van Lengen of the town of Onondaga and Mrs. William Smith of Waterloo; four nephews, William J. Crowell of Liverpool, Fred Bassett of Auburn, George Bassett of Romulus and Jack Bassett of Minneapolis, Minn.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Maurer Funeral Home, Liverpool, the Rev. Mark A. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Liverpool cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at 300 Second St., Liverpool.
