Mrs. Anna I. Copeland
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna L. Copeland, prominent Columbus resident and widow of the late J. C. Copeland, who died Wednesday night at 10:10 o?clock at the family residence, 3207 Second avenue, will be held this morning at 10 o?clock at the St. Mark Methodist church with Rev. L.E. Williams officiating, assisted by F.K. Petrea. The body will lie in state at the church for an hour before the services.
Mrs. Copeland had been ill for about eight months. She was a member of St. Mark Methodist church.
She is survived by three daughters Mrs. W.C. Morris, Mrs. O.E. Andrews and Mrs. Margaret Myrosdick all of this city; four sons Barlow, John, Curtis and Chester Copeland of Columbus; two sisters Mrs. H.D. Kemp and Mrs. Polly Wiggins of Columbus; four brothers, Jack and Henry Bassett of Columbus, Jim Bassett of Phenix City and Henry Bassett of Lindale, Ga.
The following will serve as pallbearers: A.L. Ford, Homer Gray, C.F. Edwards. W.D. Floyd, John Swell and W.H. Brewer.
