Bassett Stricken Suddenly Louis W. Bassett, dealer in stocks and bonds, died suddenly of heart failure Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock at his home, 62? North Elizabeth street. He suffered a sudden seizure, fell to the floor and was dead before the doctor who was called could reach him. He had been ailing for the past two weeks. Mr. Bassett was born in Cleveland, O., July 17, 1876, and came to Peoria eight years ago, since which time he conducted a brokerage business in stocks and bonds. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ada M. Bassett, and four children, Louis G., William W., Howard and Miss Stella Bassett, all of Peoria. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the residence and interment will be in Springdale cemetery.
