  Notes	Norwalk Citizen News, Connecticut, Friday, November 21, 2003 George A. Bessette George A. Bessette, 76, of Norwalk, the husband of Gloria Ann Bessette, died Nov. 11 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Drumondville, Quebec, Canada, on July 14, 1927, he was the son of George and Irene Bessette. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was the service manager for Norwalk Motor Sales. He was a Special Olympics volunteer, an area coordinator for the Knights of Columbus, a former district deputy for the Connecticut State Council and a member of the Norwalk Senior Center. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Char-lene Stefanski of Royal Oaks, Mich., and Karen Queening of Milford; two granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at St. Mary's Church. Interment followed in St. John Cemetery. The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., was in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, Connecticut, 2666 State St., Suite 1, Hamden 06517.
