      George H. Bessette

      George H. Bessette, 63, of 60 Clinton St., Pawtucket, died yesterday at Veterans Administration Hopsital, Davis Park, after a long illness. A World War I veteran, he was the husband of Margaret (Thurber) Bessette.
      A native of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Henry and Eugenie (Willette) Bessette. He formerly worked at Hemphill Mfg. Co. for many years and later as a toolmaker at Norwood, Mass., Control Co.
      Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norman Boudreau, West Warwick; three sons, George A., Albert L. and Edmund J. Bessette, all of Pawtucket; three sisters, Mrs. Edgar Menard, Pawtucket, Mrs. James Lennon, Cumberland, and Mrs. Daniel MacLean, East Weymouth, Mass.; three brothers, Leo, Pawtucket, Edmund and Gerald Bessette of North Attleborn, and 15 grandchildren.
      A military funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the Prata Funeral Home, 372 Broadway, with a solemn recquiem Mass at 9 in St. Leo?s Church. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
