  Notes	Columbus Daily Enquirer, Georgia, Sunday, May 26, 1940 Henry Bassett Henry Bassett, aged 74 of Muscogee county, died Saturday morning at 12:30 o?clock at the city hospital. Mr. Bassett had been in declining health for the past four years, but had only been seriously ill for about four weeks. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bassett; two sisters, Mrs. H. D. Kemp and Mrs. Charlie Wiggins, of Columbus; two brothers, George Bassett, of Lindale, Ga., and James Bassett, of Phenix City, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o?clock at the Midway Methodist church nine miles from Columbus on the Buena Vista road. Rev. J.W. Miller will conduct the services assisted by Rev. J. M. Hill. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: R.A. Moye, B.L. Gosa, Pearce Rich, Ferrel Robinson, Clark Robinson and Jimmie Allen. The funeral cortege will leave Harris funeral home at 1:30 p.m.
