  Notes	The Hartford Courant, 25 May 1998 Catharine (Pratt) Bassett Catharine (Pratt) Bassett, 93, of Simsbury, widow of Kendall T. Bassett, died Sunday (May 24, 1998) at her home. Born in St. Paul, MN, she lived in East Hartland for 10 years before moving to Simsbury in 1982. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kendall and Carolyn Bassett of Tacoma, WA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeane and Jack Prewitt of Hopkinton, NH and Beth and Peter DalNegro of Canton; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 28, 1:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 219 No. Granby Road, Granby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church Memorial Fund, 219 No. Granby Road, Granby, 06035 or the American Cancer Society, 45 Wintonbury Ave., Bloomfield 06002.
