Mrs. Treva Bassett of Hoytville and Edwin J. Feehan, Bowling Green
were united in marriage last Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. by Father Robert
Holden, Bascom, in St. Aloysius Church in Bowling Green. Mrs. Francis Menden,
Toledo, daughter of the bride, was her matron of honor. Terrance Feehan,
Custar, was best man for his father and seating the guests were Roger Stein
and Larry Brown, grandsons of the bridegroom. The bride chose a light blue
polyester knit dress accented with a corsage of orchids surrounded with pink
rosebuds. Her accessories were in blue and white. Mrs. Menden wore a peach
knit dress and her flowers were carnations and roses. A reception for t
immediate families was held following the ceremony. Open house was observed
from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Hostesses were Miss Kay Bassett, granddaughter of the
bride; Miss Kathy Brown and Mrs. Lind Cramp, granddaughters of the
bridegroom. Guests attended from Napolion, Toledo, Oak Harbor, Deshler,
Weston, Bowling Green, McComb and Hoytville. The newlyweds, both retired, are
on a wedding trip to Florida. Their address will be 1350 North Lake Aven., Box
23, Avon Park, Fla. After April 15, Mr. and Mrs. Feehan will reside at 620
Wintergarden Road, Bowling Green. The bride, a graduate LPN, formerly w
employed at Wood County Hospital and at Oak Grove Manor, Deshler. She is the
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Rader, McComb. Feehan is a former school
teacher and farmer. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Feehan,
Custar.

TOLEDO - A funeral Mass for Treva P. Feehan, 97, of Toledo and formerly of
Bowling Green, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic
Church, Bowling Green, the Rev. Thomas Leyland officiating. Burial will be in
McComb Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Dunn Funeral
Home, Bowling Green, with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Feehan died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at Briarfield of Glanzman
Nursing Home, Toledo.
She was born Sept. 11, 1901, in Hancock County to John D. and Katie B.
(Kelly) Rader. She married Cecil T. Bassett on Nov. 3, 1918, and he died in
1972. She then married Edwin J. Feehan on Feb. 2, 1974, and he died in 1992.
Surviving are a daughter, Alice Mendon, Toledo; a son, John C.
Bassett, Cottonwood, Ariz.; four stepdaughters, Patricia Brown, Bowling Green;
Mary Lue Stein, Custar; Eileen Wotschak in North Carolina; Helen Birtcher,
Napoleon; a stepson, Terry Feehan, Deshler; nine grandchildren; 21 great-
grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; 23 step-grandchildren; and 34
step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Cecil J.; a brother, Ralph Rader;
and two sisters, Joyce Ingall, Lucy Rader.
Mrs. Feehan was a nurse, working for Wood County Hospital, Bowling
Green, and Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home, Deshler.
She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Bowling Green, and
the Hoytville Grange. She was also a member of the EUB, Hoytville, and
attended Regina Coeli Parish, Toledo.
Memorials may be made to the church, or to a charity of the donor's
choice.
