Survivors include: three sons, Guy Bassett, Billings, Mont.; Owen Bassett, Bell Garden, Cal.; Clyde Bassett, Chicago; five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Keck, Chicago; Mrs. Bernice Nickelsen and Mrs. Lois James, both of Rockford; Mrs. Helen Hutchenson; Warwick, Va.; Mrs. Kathryn Siden, Greenville, O.; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Jesse, Pamona, Cal. Services at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Julian-Poorman Funeral Home, 304 N. 5th St., with the Rev. J.W. Ernest Thompson, pastor of Centennial Methodist church, officiating. Burial in Cedar Bluff cemetery. Friends may call at funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
