Mrs. Raymond of Glenville, Dies at 72
Mrs. Alma Bessette Raymond, 72, of 38 Pashley road, Glenville, died yesterday in St. Clare?s Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A native of norther New York, Mrs. Raymond lived about 40 years in Schenectady before moving to the Glenville home of her son, Harvey Raymond, three years ago. The widow of George Raymond, she was a member of the St. Anne Society of Sacred Heart Church.
Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Thursday at the Raymond home, Pashley road, and a solemn high requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph?s cemetery.
Besides her son, survivors are two other sons, Frank Goudard and Theodore Raymond, and two daughters, Mrs. Earl Bennett and Miss Doris Raymond, all of Schenectady; three brothers, Alfred and Theodore Bessette, both of Willsboro, and Frank Bessette, Harvey, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Bezio and Miss Ella Bessette, Willsboro, and Mrs. Louis Andrews and Mrs. walter Joos, Schenectady, and 12 grandchildren.
