Leo Bessette of Townsend, MA; 59 (Picture included)
Townsend, MA - Leo Bessette 59, of Townsend, MA. passed away peacefully Saturday evening in Apple Valley Center, Ayer, MA. with his family at his side. He was born in Fitchburg, MA. on October 3,1953 the son of Leo and Ruth (Brown) Bessette and was raised in Fitchburg, MA. He has been a resident in Townsend , MA. for the past 25 years. Leo was a salesman for F.W. Webb Co. for many years. He was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Gail (Martinson) Bessette, his step-son Luke Alexander of Westford, MA., his daughter, Samantha Bessette of Townsend, MA., two sisters, Judy Keany and her husband Michael of Braintree, MA., and Donna Brand and her husband Steve of Westmoreland, N.H. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins, nephews and nieces. Bessette - There will be calling hours on Tuesday evening November 6, 2012 from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA. followed by a prayer service. A private Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA. on a later day. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Sunshine, a non-profit organization for children with life threatening illnesses and their families.
