Herbert, the two-year-old son of Marshall Bassett, who resides just over the line in Marion township, was dangerously, and it may be fatally burned this morning. One of the older children was just entering the room where the little fellow was, carrying a shovel full of hot coals, when he came running to meet her, the edge of the shovel striking him under the chin, and the coals flying all over his face and down his neck, burning him in a terrible manner.
