Ottawa Evening Citizen (Partial)
A resident of the city of Hull and one of the most highly respected citizens, passed away on Saturday following a two-month illness.
Born in Saint-Remi, Naperiville County, Mr. Bessette had been a resident of Hull for the past 76 years. He was one of the founders of the Hull City Band, and was a member of this group of musicians for more than 50 years. He was also a member of the men’s congregation and a member of the Catholic Foresters. For more than 20 years, he was employed at the Hull waterworks plant.
