Jacob B. Bessette
Jacob B Bessette, 29, of Auburn, CA, formally of Shelbyville, Ky., died Aug. 9, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident involving a drunk driver. He was born Nov. 31, 1983 in Reno, NV. He was the son of Ronald (Lynn) Bessette Jr. and Debbie (Danny) Bruce. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Roy and Ruby Morrow and paternal grandmother Catherine Bessette. Jacob is survived by his parents Ron of Fernley, NV and Debbie of Shepherdsville; his 3 brothers: David (Lois) Bessette of Marysville, CA, Ronald Bessette III of Penn Valley, CA and Matthew (Shari) Bessette of Shelbyville. He also leaves his paternal grandfather Ron Bessette, of Reno, NV. He is also survived by his 7 nephews and 3 nieces as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service was held on Aug. 17 at his home in Auburn overlooking the garden he restored. A Celebration of Life will take place on Aug. 31, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the main pavilion at Lake Shelby camp grounds in Shelbyville. The celebration is open to all who would like to attend; the family invites to you bring your own picnic lunch and a blanket or chairs and join them as Jacob's life is celebrated. The family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the ASPCA in Jacob's name.
