Mrs. Beverly (Bassett) Mackay, 81, of Haverhill, died Thursday morni
Penacook Place Nursing Home, Haverhill.
She was born in No. Conway, NH, April 30, 1925, daughter of the late Jack and
Edna (Colby) Bassett.
Educated in the Haverhill Grammar Schools, she graduated from Gould Academy,
Bethel, ME. Mrs. Mackay graduated from McIntoch Business School.
She was employed in the family Travel Agency, Bassett Tours, and, more
recently for the Visiting Nurses Association, Haverhill.
A wonderful grandmother, Mrs. Mackay was an avid gardener, crafter, baker and
cookie maker.
She was the wife of the late Richard Mackay who died in 1985, and her survivors
include a daughter Sharon and her husband Dick Sinotte, 3 sons, Richard and
his wife Kathleen Mackay, Geoff Mackay, and Charles Drew all of Haverhill, 2
brothers, Jack Bassett of Lovell, ME, Walter Bassett of Boca Raton, F
sisters, Beryl Hull of Braintree, Priscilla Johnstone of Bangor, ME, 6
grandchildren, Courtney and Christian Sinotte, Kymberly and her husband Shaun
Kelly, Alisa and her husband Rich Andrusiak, Geoff Mackay, Jr., and Ashleigh
Mackay, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service
Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer
St., Haverhill.
A visitation period will precede the Memorial Service from 2:00 to 3:00 on
Sunday at the Funeral home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.

Tremont St., Boston, MA 02108.
