William B. Bassett
Word has been received here of the death of William B. Bassett who died suddenly March 25, 1936, at the home of his father-in-law, George Summers at Akron, the result of a heart attack. Mr. Bassett, who for the past year had resided in Batavia, was a conductor on the New York Central Railroad.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Hannah Summers Bassett, he leaves a son, William B. Bassett Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Doerner of Rochester and Mrs. Florence Fox of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Funeral services for Mr. Bassett were held Saturday noon from the Summers home at Akron, the Rev. John Uriel of Akron, officiating.
Interment was at Riverside Cemetery in Rochester.
