(Special to the Daily Enterprise) OGDENSBURG, Jan. 16 – Mrs. Clara Bassett of Malone, sister of Mrs. J.L. Griswold of 49 Riverside drive, Saranac Lake, died Wednesday at the Hepburn hospital here following a week’s critical illness. She was the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Castle of Malone and the late Marcus L. Castle. Mrs. Bassett was proprietress of the Bonnet shop in that village. Besides her mother and sister, she is survived by her husband, Clarence E. Bassett of Malone and two daughters, Mrs. George Robare of Malone and Miss Dorothy M. Bassett, student at Potsdam State Teachers colleg Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon in the Methodist church, Malone. Burial will take place in that village.
