Margaret D. Santaw
Margaret D. (Flebotte) Santaw, 71, of Beacon Drive passed away on May 6, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. Born November 17, 1942 in Ludlow, she was the daughter of Ernest T. Flebotte and Phyllis (Bissonette). Margaret has lived in Palmer since 1993, previously of Alstead, NH and Ludlow. As a child, Margaret was part of 4H along with knitting and crafting. She enjoyed cooking, camping and especailly her cottage on Lake Thompson. She was a senior aide at Palmer Senior Center and also was a communicant at St. Thomas Church. Margaret will be missed by her daughter Leslie Ann Fry of Springfield, VT along with a brother Thomas Flebotte. She was predeceased by her son Dale Anthony Bassett in 1965 along with siblings Patricia Poitras and Paul Flebotte. Visitation will be Friday at 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, May 12 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Church, please meet directly at the church.
