Obituaries, Ransom Bassett
Ransom Bassett, 95, of 510-1/2 Chenango Street, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at Binghamton City Hospital. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Knibbs; a cousin, Mrs. Chester Larrabee, both of Binghamton, and two grandnephews, Jesse Robbins of Binghamton and Raymond Robbins of Hornell. He was a retired trainman with the Delaware & Hudson Railroad. The body was moved to the Hopler & Georgia Funeral Home, 483 Chenango Street, where friends may call.

Bassett - The funeral of Ransom Bassett will be held from the Hopler & Georgia Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Richard M. Woodman will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Union. Friends may call at the funeral home.
