The bride's gown was fashioned with a satin and lace bertha and court train, and she wore a headdress of Chantilly lace and net. Her bouquet was a cascade of gladiolus, white roses and sweet peas.
Miss Sue Prentice, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. She was gowned in aqua marquisette with a matching picture hat and carried yellow roses.
The former Miss Dueland is the daughter of Mrs. Rudolf Dueland of Staten Island and the late Mr. Dueland. She was escorted by her uncle, Dr. Haaken Alme of Amery, Wisconsin.

The Reverend Leis Gulbrandsen officiated at the wedding rites, assisted by the Reverend Gerald Huenink.
A reception for the families and friends was held at the Richmond Terrace Woman's Club, Staten Island.
