  Notes	Burlington Press Press, 23 Dec 2006 Jeanne Marie Bessette BURLINGTON — Jeanne Marie Bessette, 89, of Burlington died in Fletcher Allen Health Care on Feb. 16, 2001. She was born in Winooski on Feb. 11, 1912, the daughter of Arthur and Aurore (Piche) Alarie. Jeanne worked for many years at St.Michael’s College. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph parish.Jeanne was the widow of Arthur J. Bessette, who predeceased her in 1980.Jeanne is survived by a son, the Rev. Conrad A. Bessette of Burlington;a sister, Helen Martell of Burlington; a brother, Clement Alarie ofWinooski; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by adaughter, Claire A. Bessette. The family would like to thank the entirestaff at Starr Farm Nursing Center for their loving care and concernduring Jeanne’s time spent there. A Mass of Christian Burial will becelebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.Friends may call at the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Home on Mondayfrom 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may bemade in Masses or to St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Renovation Fund, 85 ElmwoodAve., Burlington, VT 05401.
