Amos E. Bassett
Amos E. Bassett, 72, 209 North Nanticoke Ave., Endicott, died Saturday at 8
a.m. at his home. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Bassett, Endicott; three
sons, Arthur, Williamsport, Duane, Endicott and Leon, Apalachin; a daughter,
Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Greenslade, Vestal; eleven grandchildren; nine-great-
grandchildren; and three brothers, Jay Bassett, Harry Bassett, and Mart
Bassett, all of Canton. The body was removed to the Coleman & Daniels Funeral
Home, 300 E Main. St., Endicott, where the funeral and interment services will
be held Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Homer Smith will officiate. Burial will be
in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott, at the convenience of the family. The family
will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 to.
