Watchman Is Found Dead
Hood - E.W. Basset was found dead in the cabin in which he lived here, last Tuesday. Basset was employed as watchman in the fruit packing shed here. Friends not seeing him about, became worried, entered his cabin and found him dead. He is said to have been died (sic) the previous day. The coroner has failed to locate any relatives of the deceased. Friends and acquaintances who knew Basset here are arranging to handle his burial together with the co-operation of Coroner Garlick. Funeral services will be held Saturday.
