  Notes	Sunday, 17 August 2003 Norman G. Bassett Norman G. Bassett, 67, of Massachusetts Avenue, a food preparation worker, died August 17, 2003, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Margaret E. (Rowe) Bassett. Born in Providence, a son of the late Clarence and Laura (Hamilton) Bassett, he had lived most of his life in Warwick. Mr. Bassett had been working in food preparation at the Olneyville New York System Restaurant on Plainfield Street, Providence, for the past 16 years. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Charles E. Bassett of Warwick and Norman J. Bassett of Pawtucket; two daughters, Cheryl A. Therriault of Coventry and An M. Dickey of Warwick; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held in Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave. Burial was in Pawtuxet Memorial Park.
