Leona (Bessette) Leveille passed away on March 10, 2018. A sweet gentle soul, Leona walked this earth softly, in loving kindness. She was the loving wife of Rene Leveille who predeceased her in 2016. She was a creative homemaker, talented crafter, devoted mother to six children, and the best mother-in-law ever. She leaves her son Paul and wife Patricia Mitchell; son Marc and his wife Bonnie Gifford; son John and his wife Lyn Mitchell; daughter Lynn Leveille Kobylanski; son Tom and wife Claire Conway; and daughter Renee Leveille Freniere. She will also be forever loved and missed by her 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday, March 15th at 8:30 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 14th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Mass Eldercare,4 Valley Mill Rd., Holyoke MA 01040.
