Bassett to Captain Miami High Quintet
Albert Bassett, veteran Miami High forward was elected captain of the Stingaree basketball team at a meeting of the squad last night after practice. Freddy Frink, lanky guard, was named alternate, by the 13 first squad members who took part in the voting.
Bassett has been on the squad for three years, palying two years as a regular. He was a mainstay last season and has made himself one of the most feared players on local courts, with his deadly shooting from almost any place on the courts. He is a senior and will be graduated in June.
