  Notes	S.A. Bass October 10, 1974 S.A. Bass, 67, of Jacksonville, died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday in a Jacksonville hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Thompson Funeral Chapel with the Reverend H. McNeill and the Reverend Billy Grimes officiating. Burial will be in Gossett Chapel Cemetery. A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Bass was a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Lee Bass; one son, Lewie Bass, Jacksonville; one daughter, Mrs. Esterne Grimes, Jacksonville; three brothers, Odis Bass and Seaborn Bass, Jacksonville, and Lowell Bass, Mineola; four sisters, Mrs. Lula Moore, Mrs. Leon Garner and Mrs. E.W. Busby, Jacksonville, and Mrs. L.D. Busby, Plainview; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Roy Baumgardner, Lester Wells, Otis Wells, Stuart McAnally, James Odom and Joe Parsley.
