Roof Fire Damages Clyde Bassett Home
A roof fire at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of Clyde Bassett 417 State Street, did considerable damage before it was gotten under control. The fire had a good start before it was discovered and by the tme the firemen arrived it was blazing furiously.
It is believed that the fire was caused by a spark from the chimney. The fire chief could make no estimate of the damage this afternoon.
