James Greene Bassett, 73, of Grayson, died unexpectedly in his sleep early Tuesday morning. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the graveside in Little Star Cemetery near Holum, with the Rev. V.E. Claunch officiating. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Bassett, of Grayson; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur McGee of Union, Miss., Mrs. C.W. Patterson and Mrs. W.P. Prestridge, both of Kelly, and Mrs. Julius Martin, of Olla; four sons, E.S. Bassett, of Grayson, Alfred A. Bassett, of Mobile, Ala., J.G. Bassett, Jr. of Union, Miss., and Sgt. Donald D.
