Eugene B. Bessette
EAGLE BRIDGE ? Eugene B. Bessette, 61, died July 28 at his home in Eagle Bridge following a long illness.
Mr. Bessette was born on July 25, 1922, in Ware, Mass., son of adellard and Arline Bacon Bessette. A painter by trade, he worked for McKinney Contractors in Albany.
Survivors include his mother of Holyoke, Mass.; his wife, the former Margaret McEachron; eight sons, Gene R. of Phoenix, Ariz., William of Monson, Mass., John of San Francisco, Calif., Ronald orf Palmer, Mass., Thomas of Troy, Robert of San Francisco, Calif., Eugene of Watervliet, and Gary of Bennington, Vt.; eight daughters, Arlene Grammo of Munson, Teresa Delisle of Warren, Mass., Cynthia Wylder and Margaret Aquiers, both of Bennington, Donna Bessette of Brattleboro, Lisa Bessette and Nicole Bessette, both of Eagle Bridge, and Penee Wilson of Hoosick Falls; three brothers, Albert of Ware, Donald of Copake, and Ricahrd of Charleston, Mass.; four sisters, Teresa Gale of Spencder, Mass., Gloria Pinger of Agawam, Mass., Constance Massey of Holyoke, and Geraldine Robins of Florida.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosik Falls, followed by a Mass. Burial was in St. Mary?s Cemetery.
Contributions in Mr. Bessette?s memory may be made to the Cancer Society or the Hoosick Falls Rescue Squad.
