Fedora DeCoste, 94
FALL RIVER – Fedora (Bessette) DeCoste, 94, died on Friday, March 14, 1997 at the Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center.
She was the widow of Lawrence DeCoste. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Godfrey and Roseanna (Bellavance) Bessette. She lived in Fall River most of her life, most recently residing on North Main Street. She lived in Belgrade Lakes, Maine, from 1962 to 1975 before moving back to Fall River.
Before retiring in 1952, she was employed as a weaver by the former Sagamore Manufacturing Co. for 36 years and prior to that was employed by the former Narrangansett Mill.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parich in Fall River.
Mrs. DeCoste is survived by several nieces and nephews.
