Death of Noel Bessette
Noel Bessette, who was stricken with paralysis while at work in his harness shop on Clinton street Wednesday, July 15, died at his home on Cornelia street Saturday at 7.20 o’clock. Mr. Bessette had been in a semi-unconscious condition from the time he was stricken and the end came peacefully.
Mr. Bessette was born in Canada 67 years ago, and came to Plattsburgh with his parents when he was but three years of age, and his since made his home in this city. Of a quiet disposition he nevertheless took a lively interest in all matters concerning his adopted home, and was held in the highest esteem by the entire community. He is survived by his wife and six children, Noel and Charles of Malone, Peter of this city, Miss Cordelia, of Springfield, Mass., Miss Nellie and Mrs. Napoleon Girard of this city, all of whom were at his bedside when death came. He also has two brothers and two sisters living.
