Audry B. Bassett, 72, Kendallville, died at Kendallville Nursing Home at 7:10 a.m. Sunday. Born February 23, 1915 near Wawaka, she was the daughter of Wesley and Mary Ellen (Moore) Reidenbach. She had lived her whole life in Noble County. On July 2, 1933 she married Lavon Bassett in Fort Wayne. He died July 28, 1984. Surviving are a son, Jerry, Kendallville; three sisters, Doris Grayless of Albion, Marjorie Haflich of Fort Wayne, and Maxine Sites of Ashland, Ohio; a stepsister, Blanche Nodine of Garrett; three stepbrothers, Rex and Walter Donat of Rome City and Bill Donat of Wawaka. Two brothers preceded her in death. Services will be Tuesday at Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home. Burial, Orange Cemetery.
