Louise Bessette
FITCHBURG, May 26. – The funeral of Louise Bessette of 1 Hale street, who died at the Burbank Hospital Saturday afternoon was held at 9 o’clock this morning with a high mass of requiem in St. Cecilia’s Church, Leominster, celebreated by Rev. Alvin N. Gagnon. Prof. Pamphile Langlois, organist, played during the mass and accompanied the vocal soloists Mrs. Eva Hurtubise and Alyre Cormier.
Burial was in the parish cemetery the bearers being George and Raymond Bessette, Israel Cote, Arthur St. Hilaire, Frank Archambault and James Ducharme. Prayers were read at the graves by Rev. Lionel F. Goddu. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of M.A Simard & Son.Louis married Georgiana Ducharme. Death of Mrs. Louis Bessette
LEOMINSTER, Jan. 2 – Mrs. Georgianna (Ducharme) wife of Louis Bessette, former residents of this city, died at Burbank hospital, Fitchburg, yesterday. She was born in Lowell and was 69 years old.
Mrs. Bessette was a member of the St. Anne’s Sodality of St. Cecilia’s church.
Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Aurore O’Connell of Fitchburg, Miss Lillian Bessette and Mrs. Robella Baker, both of Leominster; sons, Louis F. of Fitchburg and Albe of Leominster; a sister, Mrs. Israel Cote of this city; and two brothers, James and Frank Ducharme of Gardner.
The body may be viewed at the Simard funeral home, 14 Walker street, Leominster, from 2 to 5 in the afternoon and 7 to 10 in the evening.Children:
