  Notes	Greensboro Daily News North Carolina Sunday, October 3, 1948 Mrs. Hepsie Matthews Dunn, October 2 - Mrs. Hepsie D. Matthews, 63, of Coats died in Good Hope Hospital at Erwin Saturday at 7:30 p.m. She had been in poor health for several years. Funeral will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Coats Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery at Coats. Surviving are her husband, James Matthews, of Coats; two stepsons, Curtis Matthews of Albemarle and Chester Matthews of Coats, and two daughters, Mrs. Sara Folwer of Coats and Mrs. Gracie Dickson of Coats; four step-daughters, Mrs. Josie Kinney of Albemarle, Mrs. Bertie Hunsicker of Albemarle, Mrs. Idell Leonard of Charlotte and Mrs. Bessie Stone of Coats; three half-brothers, Handy Bass of Erwin, William Bass of Route 1, Godwin, and Mrs. Wiley B. Bass of Route 3, Dunn; one half-sister, Mrs. Lilly Lockay of Fayetteville, and 15 grandchildren.
