Former County Woman Dies In Shelby County
Mrs. Abbie Bass, 61 years old, died Tuesday morning at eight o?clock of heart trouble at her home in Shelby county, north of Shelbyville. Mrs. bass had been in ill health ? for about four weeks. She was born July 11, 1879, and was the daughter of Ephraim and Martha Rhodes, late residents of Rush county.
On April 11, 886 the deceased was married to Milton bass and had resided since that time in Shelby county. She was a mem-church of near Morristown.
Besides the husband, Mrs. bass is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rue Miller of Manilla; two brothers, John Rhodes of Shelby county and the Rev. Enoch Rhodes of Tipton; three sisters, Mrs. Jasper Cherry, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. D.A. Mull, Mays and Mrs. M.V. Plessinger, Detroit, Mich. Five grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the resident at 2 Thursday afternoon in charge of the Rev. Fred Dinnis of Dayton, O. Burial will be in the Mausoleum at Shelbyville.
