Carson Bass
WARWICK - Carson Bass died Wednesday, March 1, 2006. Funeral services will be held for Carson Bass, 83, at 3P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Warwick United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. -The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 3, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. -A retired farmer, Mr. Bass served on the American Soil Conservation Service (ASCS) and the Georgia Cotton Commodities Commission. He was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church and the Americus District Lay Leader for the Methodist Church. He served as a trustee for Andrew College, Dooly County Campground and Epworth By The Sea. He was also a member of the Warwick Masonic Lodge. -He was the son of the late Ellen Harris Bass and the late C. Cleveland Bass. Mr. Bass was a native of Worth County. -Survivors include his wife Sara J. Bass of Warwick; two sons, Jack Bass and his wife Elsie of Warwick, Jimmy Bass of Tampa; two daughters, Catherine McCarthy and her husband Jeff of Suwanee, GA, Carolyn Mitchell and her husband Tom of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Anne Hudson of Ocilla and Eugenia Espy of Macon; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. -An online guest book is available at www.hughesandwright.com. -Hughes and Wright Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
