  Notes	Chapel Rites Monday for Mrs. Bass, 97 The Rev. Leonard Vreeke, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, will officiate at funeral services for Margaret Ethel Bass, 97, at 10 a.m. Monday at Hamilton Chapel. Mrs. Bass, a 52-year resident of Alamogordo, died Thursday at her residence at 304 Sixteenth St. Pallbearers will be Sam and James Bursueals, Audie Lawson, Houston and Aubrey Daugherty, and Ray Gotzinger. Interment will be in the Bass Cemetery in Cox Canyon near Cloudcroft. Friends may call at the Hamilton Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Monday. Mrs. Bass was born in Nolan county, Texas, and spent most of her life in Otero county. Survivors include two sons, Aaron Bass of Alamogordo and Croft R. Bass of Odessa, Tex.; seven grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
