Lola Mae Bass
RICHMOND, VA. ? Lola Mae Bass, 88, of 1809 Skipwith Road, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2021.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Grandview Memorial Garden with the Rev. Clay Carter officiating. She will be entombed along beside her loving husband.
Lola was born Aug. 11, 1933 in Sampson County, to the late Bertie Holly Hudson and Lola Edith Britt Hudson. She worked in childcare. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wade Bass.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Susan Walls of Burgaw; several nieces and nephews and extended family; Amanda whom she loved like a daughter; and Karen, a dear friend. God bless them both.
